    Streaming in 720p (HD)

All compatible devices are able to stream Optus Sport in up to 720p HD (HD), depending on your Internet connection (including bandwidth).

On most devices, the video player has a Settings button which allows you to choose higher or lower resolution video. This may be helpful if your bandwidth is limited or if you are experiencing buffering issues.

The higher the resolution you select when using a mobile network, the greater your battery usage and the greater your mobile data usage, which can result in unexpectedly high usage charges (depending on your mobile service).

The Optus Sport mobile app allows you to control this. You can choose to stream in resolutions up to 720p HD over a mobile network connection (when viewing on a phone or tablet device listed above) via the toggle in Video Settings in the More section of the app.

The default setting is Auto, which plays the highest resolution that your current Internet connection speed allows.

For best results we recommend leaving the settings on Auto.

    Streaming in 1080p (Full HD)
