About the Optus Ultra WiFi Booster

The Optus Ultra WiFi Booster is a device that connects to your Home Internet modem to your WiFi coverage throughout areas of your home that may otherwise be out of range.

How many Boosters do I need?

One Optus Ultra WiFi Booster (Gen 2) is usually enough to cover a home, but it will depend on factors such as Booster placement, wall materials and home configuration.

As a guide we recommend:

Home configuration	Devices recommended
1-2 bedroom single storey home with wood/gyprock internal walls	Optus modem
1-2 bedroom single storey home or unit with brick/masonry internal walls	Optus modem
3-4 bedroom double storey home with wood/gyprock internal wall	Optus modem + 1 Optus Ultra WiFi Booster
3-4 bedroom single/double storey home or unit with brick/masonry internal walls	Optus modem + 2 Optus Ultra WiFi Boosters
5+ bedroom single or double storey home with wood/gyprock internal walls	Optus modem + 2 Optus Ultra WiFi Boosters
5+ bedroom single/double storey home with brick/masonry internal walls Optus	+ 3 Optus Ultra WiFi Boosters

Remember: You can have a total of 3 Optus Ultra WiFi Boosters on your account; this includes the Booster included in your plan and 2 additional Boosters.
