How to change your Prepaid Mobile Phone plan

In this article, we’ll show you how to change your Prepaid mobile phone plan.

If you're currently overseas or need further support, message us to change your Prepaid plan.

Below are the steps to change your Prepaid mobile plan.

Keep in mind, that you may lose your existing credit when changing rate plans. To avoid this, use up your credit before changing plans.

  1. Send a text with the word 'MENU' to 9999
  2. You'll receive a reply text. Follow the prompts to change your plan
  3. We'll send you a confirmation text once your plan change is complete
  4. You'll have to recharge to start using your new plan. Don't recharge until you receive the confirmation text
  5. If you've set up AutoRecharge, changing your rate plan may cancel your AutoRecharge if the new plan isn't compatible 

Note: You may need to restart your device to update your SIM after you've changed rate plans. You may also need to manually reset your AutoRecharge settings to match your new plan. For further information, visit our AutoRecharge support page.

  1. From your Prepaid handset, call 555 and select option 2 (Balance & Plan)
  2. Then select option 2 (Change your plan)
  3. We'll send you a confirmation text once your plan change is complete
  4. If you have to recharge to start using your new plan. please don't recharge until you receive the confirmation text
  5. If you've set up AutoRecharge, changing your rate plan may cancel your AutoRecharge if the new plan isn't compatible - we'll notify you if this happens

Note: You may need to turn airplane mode on and off to update your SIM after you've changed rate plans. You may also need to manually reset your AutoRecharge settings to match your new plan. For further information, visit our AutoRecharge support page.

  • Prepaid Mobile Broadband
  • Postpaid Mobile Phone, or;
  • Switch your Mobile Phone service between Prepaid & Postpaid
