In this article, we'll explain how Optus Business $5 Roaming pass works and how to add it to your Optus business service.

Note. If you're on an Optus Choice Plus, Optus Plus Family, Optus Plus Promo, Optus Plus Data, Business Choice Plus, Business Choice Data Plus, Business Teams Plus or Qantas plans, you won't use Optus Business $5 Roaming Pass. Instead, you'll have Optus Daily Roaming turned on. Find out more here.

How Optus Business $5 Roaming Pass works

Optus Business $5 Roaming Pass is an international roaming service. It's auto-activated, so if you don't turn it off it'll automatically trigger when you start using your Mobile service in an eligible Zone 1 destination. To manage your roaming settings, see How to turn Optus Business $5 Roaming Pass on / off below.

This means, when travelling in an eligible destination with roaming active, you'll have Optus Business $5 Roaming Pass which includes 5GB of data and unlimited standard talk and text (Mobile Phone plans only, Fair Go policy applies) to use every 24 hours. Optus Business $5 Roaming Pass costs $5 per 24 hours / 5GB of data.

After your Optus Business $5 Roaming Pass ends, or if you use all your data in under 24 hours, if you continue using your service, we'll automatically add another Optus Business $5 Roaming Pass charge.

Standard roaming rates apply in all other destinations.

Note: Talk and text aren't available for Mobile Broadband services. These services will have 5GB of data to use per $5 charge.

We'll send you an SMS once the $5 charge is triggered. This is when the 24 hours starts, and you'll receive unlimited* standard talk and text and 5GB to use, or until you reach 5GB, whichever comes first.

* Fair Go policy applies.
